ANNUAL MATHEMATICS CONTEST

RE: INVITATION TO MANG’U ANNUAL NATIONAL MATHEMATICS CONTEST - 2025  

As Mang’u High School, we have the pleasure to invite your school to participate in the National Mathematics Contest to be held on 17th May 2025 in our school premises starting at 7.00 a.m. The objective of the contest is to demystify and popularize Mathematics as a subject with an aim of improving performance in the subject.  

There will be a different exam for each form. Teams will also be formed per form. Form 2, 3, and 4 will individually form a group of 10 participants each. Each group will be ranked independently and awarded according to the category of the school i.e., Boys, Girls, Mixed, and Special needs. A school can present more than one team in each form.  

Each participating team should pay Ksh 3,000 (Three Thousand only) to cater for the contest expenses, awards, and certificates. The best overall Form Four boy or girl will receive a laptop, trophy certificate of merit, and a professional or diploma course of their choice at Strathmore University. The overall best 10 Form Four students will be enlisted for a grand finale at Strathmore University to compete for a degree course of their choice. The best student in each category will receive a certificate of merit and a trophy.
