NATIONAL ANNUAL KENYA HIGH SCHOOL MATHEMATICS CONTEST

NATIONAL ANNUAL KENYA HIGH SCHOOL MATHEMATICS CONTEST TO BE HELD ON SATURDAY 31ST MAY 2025.

We have the pleasure to invite your school to participate in the National Mathematics Contest sponsored by Strathmore University and EduCare International.

The objective of the contest is to demystify the perception and fear that students have towards Mathematics being difficult in order to improve the performance of the subject within the country.

Awards:

• The best form 4 student will be awarded full IFY (International Foundation Year) scholarship at International University Pathways College (IUPC) and One-year Professional Diploma Scholarship at Strathmore University.
• The 2nd best form 4 student will be awarded IFY 75% scholarship at IUPC
• The 3rd best form 4 student will be awarded IFY 50% scholarship at IUPC.
• Those who will attain top 3 positions in each category i.e. Boys, girls and mixed schools will receive trophies.
• The top five form four boys and girls will participate in the Grand Finale Mathematics Contest to be held in Term 3, 2025 at Strathmore University.

Each participating school shall pay Ksh. 3000/- for each team of ten students. Teams will be formed per  individual form i.e. form 2, form 3 and form 4 comprising 10 participants each.

Kindly note that any team from a mixed school must comprise of at least 1 girl or 1 boy to qualify as a mixed  team category. Schools are encouraged to register as many teams as possible in each category to increase chances of winning. All participating students will receive certificates of participation.

Please remember to carry packed lunch for your students.
