Kenya High Mega National Languages Contest

The Kenya High School Languages department invites you to a Mega National Languages contest 2025 in both English and Kiswahili that will be held on Saturday 24th May, 2025 starting at 8:00am. The contest aims at exposing students to KCSE standard examinations in preparation for the final exam.

The contest is open for all the forms. The following areas will be tested:

1. ENGLISH DEPARTMENT

Form 2 – Comprehension, Oral literature, Oral skills and Grammar.
Form 3 – Poetry, Excerpt from Fathers of Nations by Paul vita, Oral skills and Grammar.
Form 4 – Excerpt from The Samaritan by John Lara, Oral literature, Oral skills and Grammar.

2. KISWAHILI DEPARTMENT

Form 2 – Sarufi na Fasihi Simulizi.
Form 3 – Sarufi na Ushairi.
Form 4 – Sarufi, Fasihi Simulizi, Hadithi Fupi, Riwaya na Tamthilia

Schools attending can send as many teams as they can, each consisting of 5 students per subject per form. Every team will pay a registration fee of ksh 2500 for facilitation and certificates. There will be speakers to take students through paper 2 and paper 3 for each subject.
Certificates will be awarded to all participating students and teachers
